HD Y-Strainer Valve

This heavy-duty Y-Type Strainer is engineered to remove solid particles from water systems, ensuring that sensitive components like sprinkler heads and alarm valves remain unobstructed. Constructed from high-strength Ductile Iron (ASTM A536), it is designed to handle demanding high-pressure environments up to 300 PSI. The body is protected by a Fusion Bonded Epoxy coating, which provides superior corrosion resistance for long-term service. A key maintenance feature is the removable cover, allowing for easy screen cleaning or replacement without disconnecting the strainer from the pipeline. Highly versatile, it can be installed in both horizontal and vertical orientations (downward flow), provided the screen element is positioned downward to trap debris effectively.
